My Fitness My Ministry
The hearts response to any activity above resting is to increase its rate. This increase in heart rate is accompanied by an increase in blood volume which allows more blood to flow to the rest of the body, especially active muscles, each time the heart pumps. By increasing in rate and volume the dexterity of the heart permits many levels of physical activity.
So, what does this mean for you? Cardiovascular work of any kind is a very effective way to decrease your body fat and increase your self image. My suggestion to my clients is to participate in cardiovascular activities outside of our personal training sessions. These activities include running, biking, jogging, group fitness classes etc.
Picking up a jog/run is at each individuals own pace. One person may feel a jog is 5.0 mph while another a jog is 3.0 mph. You must assess your own level of cardiovascular fitness when deciding what your jog pace will be. If you choose a pace that is too fast your heart will let you know by your rate of breathing. If your heart cannot keep up with your activity you will feel winded and the need to stop. Please don't be discouraged by this, just reset your pace to something more comfortable for yourself. You should be able to sing or have a conversation with someone while jogging.
Lastly, you want to run/jog in comfortable weather. Extremes at both ends should be avoided. If it is cold you want to run in layers so that you may remove pieces as your body warms up. When it is hot you may want to run early when it is cooler, but if you must please dress in light, breathable clothing and drink plenty of water before going out.
When beginning any new physical activity please speak with your doctor before you start.
God Bless

Body
-My Fitness My Ministry
This is the body that was given to me, I've only got one so I need for you to see, how caring for myself means caring for you too as we are the body of Christ who died for me and you.
My body is my temple dedicated to The Lord. He whispers to my heart so I cherish His great reward. The Lord is my strength as well as my life so I build upon the rock without worry or strife.
Jesus is the body that was given for me. I want to share Him with you in hopes that you will see that the life that He gives is one of freedom and abundance also happiness and love which cannot be duplicated and only comes from up above.
Commit your plans to The Lord, success is guaranteed to follow. He will lift you up in time, no longer will you feel hollow. I tell you this part as my personal truth: My passion my Christ His passion my life all given in love by our Father from above.

Distorted Image of Love
-My Fitness My Ministry
"Love Hurts". How many times have we heard this phrase? And we heard it from a young age so we grow up believing that love is supposed to hurt.
If God is love, 1 John 4:8. And we were made in the image of God, Genesis 1:27. And He planned for us to prosper from the beginning, Jeremiah 29:11. Can someone explain to me where hurt comes in?
1 Corinthians 13:8-13 says "Love never fails". Rephrased...God never fails! We are the image of God the father and if He never fails that means WE never fail. Are there going to be stumbling blocks on our paths? Definitely! If we went through life unscathed, what would we learn and how would we grow to fully trust in God?
We have to let God live in our hearts and learn to love ourselves enough to take care of the life He has given us to live.
God is Love. Love God, Love People.

Live Accordingly
Titus 2:6-8
Followers of Christ must live by faith and live in love. This way others, not of the faith, will see your actions and be drawn to the goodness of God. If your christian life reflects something other than the love of Christ it is a contradiction to the person you say you are and the God you say you serve.
Jesus - the Spirit of God reincarnated in human form.
Christ - The anointed one. His purpose was clear from the beginning; to shed His blood in death and be raised again for the salvation of all men. John 3:16
Tausha - Child of God chosen from the beginning. Ephesians 1:4-5
Personal Trainer - it is my purpose, job and joy to inspire others to get into the best possible shape physically, sometimes even mentally and spiritually. If I cannot find the time or desire to stay in shape in these three dimensions, how then can I speak to others about their all around well being? Live your life as an example according to your purpose. Prayer will lead you there.

Think on Goodness
Not feeling like working out? Eating right? Feeling positive? Yeah, I know! Sometimes we get into ruts where it takes more of your energy to be positive or get up and go do the things we know we need to do. But if you take whatever energy you have and make the effort to turn it into positive energy, maybe by going to the gym with a purpose, you will find that you feel better in the end and will be glad that you did!
Your mindset determines how, not just your day, but your life will go. If you think negatively, you will live and only see through negative eyes. So think on the good!
Philippians 4:8 NIV says
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praisworthy--think about such things.

The Best Of Me Is For My Lord
Sacrifice - offering of something valuable to God.
Genesis 4:3-4 speaks on offerings of Cain and Abel to The Lord
Leviticus 1:3-4 speaks on Burnt offerings to The Lord
Leviticus 2:1 speaks on Grain offerings to The Lord
Leviticus 3:1, 3-5 speaks on Fellowship offerings to The Lord
In each of the verses The Lord commands and is offered the best portion of the sacrifice. And because we do not serve a self-centered God He returns back to those who are obedient to His word. 2 Corinthians 9:6-8
Therefore, I urge you, brothers in view of Gods mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. - Romans 12:1
God has given me a passion for fitness and health. My desire is to share the best part of me with you. My goal is to spread the Gospel of The Lord through educated fitness. My time, my passion, My fitness, My Ministry.

Proverbs
"A cheerful look brings joy to the heart, and good news gives health to the bones". -Proverbs 15:30
Squats, push ups, lunges, and running. While these are all great exercises and no doubt strengthen your bones, being fit is more than what we do with our bodies physically. Making an effort to stay positive keeps us fit mentally and staying in Gods word regularly keeps us fit spiritually. You never know when your jolly spirits may pass a smile onto someone who really needs to be lifted.
"Pleasant words are a honey comb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones." -Proverbs 16:24
Be it the good news of the gospel or someones' pleasant words to you, put forth the effort and make health and healing a part of your day today. If you are not in need of healing, give a smile or a kind word to help someone who is in need.
